We invite you to submit a proposal for the Imago Dei: Embracing the Dignity of LGBTQ+ Persons Assembly, June 27-30, 2024 at the Bergamo Center in Dayton, Ohio. To learn more about the assembly and to review the schedule visit our website.
We will have three concurrent session blocks and five liturgical prayer experiences for which we are accepting proposals.
Concurrent session proposals should outline a 90-minute interactive workshop, panel presentation, or roundtable discussion that will help attendees deepen their understanding of an inclusive church that embraces and honors the LGBTQ+ person. Keeping our theme of being made in the image and likeness of God and our Holy Father Pope Francis calls to be a people of encounter proposals can be on topics of theological understanding, spiritual practice, pastoral ministry strategies/best practices, social justice, art, music, community building, leadership, etc. We welcome ecumenical or interfaith topics as well. Proposals can be submitted by an individual or group.
Liturgical Prayer Experience proposals should outline a 30-minute morning or evening prayer experience that draws on our theme of Imago Dei and inclusion. We welcome proposals from those with experience in liturgy or pastoral music to share your talents and gifts with conference attendees.
Proposals are due by December 31, 2023, with notification of acceptance by February 1, 2024. All presenters will need to be registered for the conference before April 1, 2024.
